Announcing Crazy Comic Constructor

Hi everyone. I'd like to take a moment to let everyone know that I've been working on Crazy Comic Constructor (CCC) for quite some time and it's getting closer to launch.

I don't yet have a firm date yet, but I'm hoping to have it done Q4 2026 to Q1 2027.

I've always wanted an app like CCC on a modern machine, but could not find one. As soon as I post this, I'm sure someone will say "Hey, check out xyz!" Well, too late! I'm already too committed!

CCC is a drag-and-drop comic book maker. You can take photos, screenshots, your own art, or AI-derived art and build a print-ready comic book.

I've used Lulu in the past for my custom-built comics, so I tailored the app to my needs at Lulu, but it has all the settings needed to tweak it to your needs.

For testing purposes, I've been building my novel, The Darkest Wand, into an AI-art comic book. I've been rather surprised by how good it's coming along. I'll do my best to release it for free with the app. If I don't get it all done, I'll give you what I got.

I'll be releasing it GPLv3, making it free to download and I'll provide the source code. I'll provide a recommended Pay-what-you-want of $19.99, but my hope is that if you can't afford that, you'll still take it and use it. My gift to you, friend!
